Overview
AI and data science projects are very common in organizations. Thus, it has become an important topic for information systems research. In this intensive course, we will cover fundamentals of data science and AI, discuss example information systems research studies on managing and governing AI and data science projects in organizations, and discuss the need for explainability of AI systems when designing and using AI for decision making.

Information about assignments
The participants who wish to get the credits need to attend all the lectures and submit a learning diary by 27.9. More information about the learning diary will be shared during the course.
Credit points
Doctoral students participating in the seminar can obtain 3 credit points. This requires participating and completing the assignments.
Registration fee
This seminar is free-of-charge for Inforte.fi member organization's staff and their PhD students. For others the participation fee is 400 €. The participation fee includes access to the event and the event materials. Lunch and dinner are not included.
