*) CREDIT POINTS FOR PhD STUDENTS

PhD STUDENT HOUR 16.12. at 15 pm-16 pm– CREDIT POINTS FOR PhD STUDENTS
Since INFORTE is steered by various Finnish universities, we always offer a possibility for PhD students to gain study credits by attending our events. In this seminar, there are two alternative ways to gain one credit point. In addition to attending both days of the official program, PhD students should meet at the PhD student hour on Friday at 15.00-16.00.
1) Those PhD students who do research on EA area, please, prepare a short conference presentation about your research. After the presentation there is time to discuss about your research with the speakers of the event, and other PhD students.
2) Those PhD students working on other research topics, should attend the PhD student meeting as well. Instead of a research presentation, you should write a “learning diary” of the event, and return it by 22nd of December to office@inforte.fi. Learning diary should be min. 6 pages long, including your own discussion of the topics presented during the event. You can use some references – hints can be asked during the PhD student hour. Learning diaries are graded: passed/failed.
