Description
Climate change and in general sustainable development are some of the major challenges we are facing in our society now and increasingly in forthcoming years. Software and ICT systems play important role in this development, both in good and bad. In this course we aim to give you a perception how ICT and especially software links to the sustainable development and how you may assess or at least increase the awareness of the effects of your software solution. During the first day we give you fundamentals for software and ICT for Sustainability and present one model, SUSAF, that can be used for extending the awareness of the possible sustainability effects. On a second day we plan to have a workshop on which we collaboratively go through one company case by using the SUSAF model.
