Juho defended his doctoral dissertation focusing on open source software development organization in the Aalto University School of Economics in Helsinki. In the field of information systems science, his current research is focused in the areas of open source software development, open data, open access and organizational change.

Open data Research Agenda. Data, and more specifically Open Data, is an emerging area of research information systems field. Previously private, mostly governmental, datasets hold untapped potential for service development. In this talk I review earlier relevant literature to extrapolate open data as a phenomenon from the perspective of the information systems field. Based on a classification of research challenges, I then propose a research agenda, and outline a set of research questions.
