Timo Erkkilä is Director of Big Data Solutions at Quva Oy. He holds MSc in Signal Processing. 

Erkkilä has 10 years of experience in predictive analytics. Prior to joining Quva Oy, Timo worked as a researcher in Tampere University of Technology (TUT), where he built distributed Machine Learning pipelines for The Cancer Genome Atlas, world's largest cancer project. After leaving TUT, Timo worked as a research scientist in the retail forecasting team at Amazon.com, where he designed and implemented distributed Machine Learning algorithms for predicting the demand of the retail products. Since Erkkilä joined Quva Oy, he has been working on building a predictive analytics platform for the industrial internet.
