Sharma, Sumita
MSc Sumita Sharma is working with the Speech-based and Pervasive Interaction group at TAUCHI at the University of Tampere. Her work involves designing, developing and evaluating gesture-based interfaces for base of pyramid Indian users, focusing on underprivileged children and children with special needs, and has worked with rural women and children all across India. As a part of her doctoral research work, she promotes the usage of technology for social empowerment, and the opportunities for students and researchers to work in a highly collaborative environment
