Dr. Stefan Klein is Professor for Interorganizational Systems at the University of Münster. Previously he held teaching or research positions at University College Dublin, Ireland; University of Linz, Austria; University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany, University St. Gallen, Switzerland; Harvard University; the German Research Center for Computer Science (GMD); and University of Cologne. His current research areas are Information Infrastructures, Network Economy, Information Management, Social Media and the transformation of work. He studies practices of technology use and organizational transformation from a group to an industry level, with a particular emphasis on the health care industry. He has published widely and is a member of the editorial board of several international IS journals.
