DHAOU SAID received the Engineering degree in Electric Engineering and the Master of Research degree in Communication Systems from the National School of Engineers of Tunis, and the Ph.D. degree (Hons.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, in December 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in Autonomous Network, Knowledge and Organization from the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT), France, in March 2015. He was a recipient of the prestigious FRQNT Postdoctoral Research scholarship. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher (2015-2020), a Software Developer, a Manager, and a Mentor at the University of Ottawa. He is cofounder of three startups (Accord Micro-Grid Corporation (AMgC), in November 2018, ITooMove, in November 2018, and SCIBDM Inc., in January 2018). He is the author of more than 50 research works in international journals and symposiums. He is a visionary and charismatic leader of dynamic research and development strategies, focused on technological innovations in data privacy and cyber-attack detection using Quantum and AI/ML models. His research topics focus on Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Metaverse, Blockchain, Technology Convergence and Computing Complexity Reduction, IoT, Smart Grid and Autonomous Electric Vehicle.

 

Dr. Said has several collaborations with Government Agencies and Canadian entities like the FQRNT, NSERC, NRC and Canadian Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) for policy development and funding opportunities. He cooperate with universities for research and development on cybersecurity, Quantum Computing and Smart Grids like University of Sherbrooke, University of Ottawa, University of Quebec in Outaouais, Canada, University of Normandy, France, etc. He is member in IEEE and NIST organizations which focus on standards and practices in both cybersecurity and energy systems. He is participating in multi-institutional projects aimed at developing resilient smart grid technologies like SecCharge, Accord MicroGrid Corporation, CyberPhysic Project.
