This course is free-of-charge for INFORTE member organisation's staff. For others, participation fee is 360 EUR. You can check the list of the member organizations when filling in the registration form.

LOCATION
This event will be organized in Oulu, in Lasaretti hotel, room Rossi. Lasaretti is within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the city centre. Lasaretti has free-of-charge parking space. If needed, you can ask accommodation from Lasaretti (Hansel price is 93,40e/night/single room - for others 125e/night).

SHORT BIO'S OF THE SPEAKERS

Amrit Tiwana (Ph.D., Georgia State University) is an associate professor at University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He was previously on Emory University’s faculty and held the Union Pacific Professorship at Iowa State University. He is an Associate Editor at Information Systems Research, where he received an outstanding AE award in 2009. He has also served as a Special Associate Editor at MIS Quarterly and serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Management Information Systems and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. His work intersects IT governance and systems development and includes over forty journal publications in Information Systems Research, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Sciences Journal, ACM Transactions on Software Engineering & Methodology, California Management Review, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, IEEE Software, Communications of the ACM, and others. Pentti Marttiin is   a manager of global SEE services at Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). Before joining NSN, he has also worked at Nokia Research Center and at Nokia Technology Platforms and Nokia Networks. Dr. Marttiin earned his Ph.D. (Econ.) at the University of Jyväskylä in 1998, where he was one of the developers of the MetaEdit CASE environment. Dr. Marttin is also a docent at the Aalto University School of Economics. His research interests lie in systems development methods and processes, method engineering, domain engineering, and coordination in distributed projects, virtual teams, open source software, project management, knowledge management
